Moisturising cream – which one to choose?

Daily skin care, especially for the face, is the basis for an aesthetically pleasing appearance, inhibition of the ageing process and absence of skin problems. The foundation of skin care is the use of a properly selected moisturising cream. Its task is not only to moisturise the skin, but also to protect it from harmful external factors. In our guide, we suggest which moisturising cream to choose for yourself.

Highly moisturising cream

If you have dry skin or skin with a tendency to dryness, go for a richly moisturising cream with a cream-gel texture. Such a cream should contain plant extracts and hyaluronic acid, which is excellent at binding water and preventing its loss from the skin.

It is also advisable to choose creams containing nourishing substances and amino acids, which, in addition to moisturising, also have firming and elasticising properties.

Cream for sensitive skin

Sensitive or atopic skin requires special care, so here we reach for a moisturising cream with properties that support skin recovery and also contain substances that make up the skin’s lipid barrier.

Cream for oily and combination skin

Many women with oily and combination skin assume that they do not need a moisturiser. This is a mistake. Paradoxically, it is precisely this type of skin that particularly needs moisturising to regulate the sebaceous glands.

It is worth reaching here not only for a cream with strong moisturising properties, but also with antioxidant properties.

Last but not least, moisturising the skin alone is not sufficient to maintain adequate water levels in the skin. Hydration is also necessary, i.e. drinking a minimum of 2 litres of good quality water a day.
